Breath of Life
The Breath of Life events raise funds for the CFF (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation).
The Breath of Life Gala in Seattle is one of the largest single evening fundraisers for CFF in the U.S. The Gala and Auction raised $1,250,000 in 2014 and nearly $42 million over the course of its 31 year history.
The Seattle 32nd Annual Breath of Life Gala will be held November 7, 2015. Nearly 800 generous guests attend this black-tie event in the Sheraton Ballroom. The evening is comprised of cocktails, silent auction, four-course dinner, entertainment, live auction, and the highly productive "raise the paddle" for cash donations.
Since 1984, it is a tradition for the Patrons of Cystic Fibrosis to present the Breath of Life Award to an organization or individual who has provided exceptional support in the fight against cystic fibrosis. Past honorees include Alaska Airlines, Boeing, the Seattle Mariners, Kenny G, Jay Buhner, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Drs. Paul and Bonnie Ramsey.
